An event called Party Weirdo is taking place at a small bar on Linden every Thursday night this summer.  Its just around the corner from the shop.  Thursday May 14th is the first one.  It always says, “Yes.”

The collaboration between Alife founder Tony Arcabascio and WeSC has arrived at the Academy. Raw and unwashed Japanese selvage denim with subtle embellishments. Come in see these for yourselves.

Here is how our all at once beloved and beleaguered City Hall was envisioned by the architect firm Stricker recently after its opening.  Also, totally related/unrelated is Habitat from Expo 67. I suppose they both evoke the same distant sense of resolve that geometric and brutally bare buildings tend to. I imagine that it could be that nostalgic tinge the photos radiate as well… Habitat was actually designed so that every unit would have its own garden and an equally decent amount of sunlight at various points of the day. Please direct me to better versions of photos of City Hall if you’re in the loop.

Also, let City Council know you don’t want to see it go. They are seriously talking about tearing the thing down.  A sequal to Lowenthal 451?
